My Experience

Heather Daugherty BS Psych and Human Development
CADC II, CGAC I, QMHA I, Certified DBT Professional, Grief Recovery Specialist, Anger Management Specialist

I am a dedicated addiction counselor with nearly seven years of experience in the field. My passion for helping individuals overcome addiction has led me to specialize in various areas, including dialectical behavior therapy, grief recovery, problem gambling, medication assisted treatment, and anger management.

I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology and Human Development, which has provided me with a strong foundation for understanding the complexities of addiction and its impact on individuals and their families.

Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations and have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of counseling and therapy in the lives of those struggling with addiction. I firmly believe in the importance of providing compassionate and evidence-based care to help individuals on their journey to recovery.

Currently, I am working in private practice, where I am able to offer personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual. My approach combines empathy, understanding, and the application of effective therapeutic techniques to support my clients in overcoming addiction and achieving lasting change.

I am truly dedicated to serving my community and helping individuals reclaim their lives from the grip of addiction. It is my goal to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their challenges, develop coping skills, and ultimately find hope and healing.

If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, I am here to offer my expertise and support. Together, we can embark on a journey towards a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life.
